Here are the steps you should follow in order to begin your weight loss program

Step 1 – Prepare yourself

Before starting to accomplish this mission, make sure that you are in a good state of health and your body have the capability of achieving that goal. Once your have everything ready, put your energy and will power together in order to begin.

Step 2 – Your first day, what to do?

At the beginning of your journey you have to follow strict diet program that will help you to be in the mood of quick weight loss. Low-milk and cereals should be included in your breakfast. Eat couple of fruits during the day, and low-fat yogurt at night. In addition to this, drinking a lot of water is very important, especially ice-cold water. Do not consume your water all at once, but try to drink it appropriately and consistently throughout the day. The last thing you need to do in your first day is to drink green tea. Do these things only for one day not more

Step 3 – More water, less Calories

Now the next thing to do in the rest of the days is to decrease and limit your calories intake. You can do that by eating the half size of your food portions and drinking lots of water. Divide your main meals into smaller ones. The correct way to eat for fast weight loss is eating small meals every 3-4 hours. Also Drinking lots of water will make your stomach full, as a result, your craving for food will decrease.

Step 4 – Food eating limitations

Losing 10 pounds in a week requires dramatic reducing of your daily calories intake. In order to lose 1 pound, you will need to burn 3500 calories more than you consume, this is clearly means that your calories intake should be at its minimum limits. Of course this will be reflected on your food kinds you eat. In the next weeks you should be totally away from: fried and junk foods, dairy products, Soft drinks, snacks, sweets. In addition, you should reduce the amount of carbohydrates and proteins. On the other hand, it is recommended to eat vegetables, oranges, apples, fish.

Step 5 – Keep your breakfast, skip your dinner

Do not neglect your breakfast, it is very necessary. Wake up 1 hour earlier and make some stretching exercises for 10 minutes, then do some brisk walking for 20 minutes( it will be better if you run ). Go back to your home and take a quick shower then eat your breakfast including low-fat milk and cereals. After returning from your work in the afternoon, take some rest for half an hour, then do some exercises for 45-60 minutes. You can run, walk, or even play your favorite sport such tennis, swimming..etc. Take into your consideration that you need to burn calories as much as you can. Also you need to forget your dinner for the next week. Actually the absence of your dinner is a significant difference in your daily eating routine. To adapt with this issue you need to keep the stomach busy by drinking water and green tea. By skipping the dinner, your body will get its enough time to burn fat from its fat reserves. If you find that skipping dinner is difficult, you can go to your bed earlier or to make your mind and body always busy.

In a nutshell, to lose 10 pounds in a week, there will be a lot of sacrifices and more effort exertion. Keep in mind that you need to consume a fewer amounts of calories, at the same time you need to burn more calories. A diet program like this will be only appropriate for no more than 2 weeks, however, it will be better for you to choose a wholesome weight loss diet program to enjoy results that last for a long time. My final word to you and it is my advice, it is not healthy for you to lose weight extremely fast.

Can you lose 10 pounds fast? It seems to be a popular question these days, and it comes with a variety of answers. The short answer is “yes”, however, there is more to it than that.

Now, if you want instant results (and results that will last), you need to hold an open mind. Why? That answer is simple – while there are ways to lose 10 pounds fast, there aren’t any ways to prevent it from coming right back on! Or are there?

With that said, check out these 2 fat destroying tips that can help you not only lose 10 pounds quick, but also help you keep them off, too!

#1 – Avoid the “Crash Diet”

Seriously – nearly any diet that promises to help you lose weight fast is almost always in “crash” form. This means you will do things like eat one certain food item for a specific amount of time or eat specific foods and a certain amount of calories for so long, etc. What happens is that you may lose weight on these diets, but the problem is that it’s all water weight.

In other words, the weight comes off quick, but it goes right back on after you go back to your normal eating habits. What is the point of making yourself suffer for a week or two to lose the weight, only to get it packed right back on? If you want to avoid this, skip the crash diets!

#2 – Find a REAL Diet and Fitness Plan

As I mentioned above, crash dieting and other fad diets are unhealthy AND are only short-term. If you want to lose 10 pounds fast AND keep it off, you need to have a healthy and sound diet and fitness plan.

You see, losing weight isn’t that difficult. In fact, most people make it hard on themselves by jumping from diet to diet with no clear end goal in mind. And, I’m talking about simple goals that are reachable, defined by exact numbers. It’s the only way you’ll truly stay motivated to shed weight.

What can you do? Find a diet and fitness routine that is proven and is the right fit for you and stick to it! Not only will the pounds come off quick, but you’ll also be able to lose more and be able to maintain it, rather than gain it all back, giving you the ultimate satisfaction and reward.

Food technology is expanding almost at the rate of the “big bang!” GE foods are everywhere. Today, up to 70 percent of the foods on American grocery shelves are genetically engineered (a number expected to grow to 90% by 2012). Most of the soy, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, dairy foods and yellow squash at your market are genetically engineered. Over one-third of U.S. farmland is planted with genetically-engineered seeds. All food is expected to be genetically engineered in the next ten years. At the end of the twentieth century, there were enough GE crops to cover Great Britain, Taiwan and New York’s Central Park! You may be shocked but should you be worried? Genetically engineered foods may contain DNA from widely different species. Plant, animal, insect, even bacterial or viral DNA make up new “improved” foods.

Pros and Cons of the new millennium food supply

There are benefits from genetic engineering:

  • GE advocates say that genetic engineering can boost resistance to pests, decreasing the need for harsh pesticide sprays and incidence of plant disease
  • Genetic engineering improves shelf life by altering genes which lead to spoilage
  • GE companies hope to create “super crops” that will feed the Earth’s exponentially growing population for generations to come
  • GE foods offer an easy delivery route for drugs and vaccinations

There’s also a price to be paid for GE foods:

  • Allergens are transferred at the molecular level. As we add genes into foods from substances that aren’t’ normally in our food chain, new allergies could run rampant
  • Using genes in GE foods from already known allergens can trigger severe reactions in allergic people
  • Cross-pollination means pollen from GE crops will likely transfer into organic crops located nearby, so even organic foods may be exposed to genetically altered organisms
  • Crops that are genetically engineered to build resistance to pesticides may transfer into neighboring weeds creating “super weeds” which can’t be killed by herbicides
  • Research shows bioengineering may destroy healing properties and reduce nutrient content of foods
  • Genetic engineering means animal by-products make their way into vegetarian foods
  • GE foods developed to create their own insecticides or herbicides are especially precarious
  • Genetic engineering may prompt the development of “super” insects, that can resist normal methods of eradication and disturb the ecosystem

Natural selection may be the ultimate key. Nature never does anything without good reason. Plants and animals change naturally with time to adapt to a changing environment. For example, we know many plant species have lengthened their growing season to better use the effects of global warming. Over time, we know plants may become more resistant to certain diseases or the effects of pollution. Recorded studies have shown that some tomatoes grown in polluted areas have actually become stronger, boosting their antioxidant nutrients to protect themselves from harsh conditions

So what can we do to protect ourselves from GE foods?

  • Stick with certified organic foods
  • Buy seasonal produce from organic local farmers
  • Avoid non-organic foods that are well known to be genetically modified – soy, canola oil and corn foods
  • Consider consuming organic dairy. Most commercially produced dairy is injected with recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH), which is a GE hormone
