Getting rid of that mummy tummy after pregnancy is never as easy as that especially if you don’t have that money to spend for exercise gurus and fitness instructors. However there are some things you could do to trim your mummy tummy and lose that gained weight.

Here are 4 simple ways on how to lose weight after pregnancy

1. Breastfeed your baby. Breastfeeding has lots of well-documented benefits. Aside from giving your baby the nutrition he/she needs and providing the bonding between you and your new baby, you are also helping your body to go back to its pre-pregnancy shape.

2. Do simple exercises such as walking. Walk as often as possible and as soon as you can after giving birth. To start with, try putting your baby in a stroller and walk moderately briskly for around twenty minutes, and aim to increase it up to forty minutes. Do these three or four times in a week. You will probably not get bored because you are out of the house which is excellent for your well being and of course your baby will benefit from all that fresh air!

3. Do sit-ups while carrying your little one on your chest but make sure the baby is stable at your chest! Sit-ups can tighten those muscles on your stomach and doing them with your baby can add up to your bonding as well as trim your mummy tummy! In addition, the weight of the baby on your chest will provide extra resistance. Start with 10 sit-ups and increase it up depending on the strength of your body.

4. VACUUMING is great for losing baby weight! Yes! I’m not kidding! This method might not be so admired. However, if you could bring yourself to do this vigorously at least once a day, you’ll surely lose that mummy tummy!

Before attempting to do any exercises though, you should discuss it first with your health care provider.


It took me only 2 short years to change my life around 100%. I had no gastric bypass or any surgery done on me, Took no diet pills, I did this all on my own.
